What2Do is about meeting people in real life. Here's how to do that safely, and what we do to help.
Meeting new people
Joining open plans is a great way to meet people. A few habits help:
- Meet in public places, at least the first time.
- Tell a friend where you're going and with whom.
- Get there and home on your own terms.
- Trust your gut. It's always fine to leave.
You're in control
The app gives you the controls:
- You choose who sees your plans: just you, friends, or everyone.
- Hosts approve who joins with "Ask to join".
- Exact meeting spots are only shown to people who are going.
Reporting and blocking
If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block them and report them from their profile or any chat in the app:
- Open their profile or the chat.
- Tap the menu and choose Report or Block.
- Tell us what happened, in as much detail as you like.
Blocked people can't see your plans or message you. We review every report and act on our community guidelines.
Emergencies
If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number right away (112 in Europe, 911 in the US).
We can't respond to emergencies. For anything else, use the report button or contact us.
